The Berks
County Genealogical Society is a non-profit corporation
established in 1980. We are located in Berks County,
Pennsylvania. Our purpose is to collect, preserve and
disseminate genealogical data. We are staffed entirely by
volunteers and our membership is open to anyone with an interest
in genealogy.
- RootsWeb - the
Internet's oldest and largest FREE genealogical community. An
award winning genealogical resource with searchable databases,
community mailing lists and other genealogy resources.
-
Family History Centers - Some 1,044 Family
History Centers, each associated with a Mormon [LDS] church or
temple, are found throughout the world. All the local centers
can borrow material from the "mountain of names," the huge
genealogical center in Salt Lake City, and each center may have
a collection of its own.
